Tepuk dada, tanya selera

. I was quite attracted to the Singaporekini.blogspot.com slogan, it mention that, Singapore is;
First class country, first class society, first class citizen, first class salary (ministers only), first class education, first class road tax, first class casino, first class government....
2. It reminds me the term ’perfectionist’…and my opinion is.. Singapore fits its all, Small country like Singapore, the salary for the prime minister is US 1 million per year (RM 3.5 million) higher than the salary of the US President Barrack Obama. And just now I read from Daily Express (11.06.09), Changi Airport in Singapore is the 3rd best airport in the world and surprisingly, Kuala Lumpur International Airport placed 7th in the survey by the Skytrax.
3. Personally, I never travel to any parts in the world except my own country, Malaysia … maybe that will be limit my view, the way I think and the way I see things…but that will never limit my imagination… I have installed the Google earth in my computer and I can visit any place in the world within seconds…. Using this software I’ve been to Cape Town in South Africa, Grand Canyon in the US, Niagara Waterfall, London Bridge…..only by clicking my mouse 
4. I have a few friends did travel to a lot of countries like UK, Russia, Spain, etc and I can see the difference in their opinion about things around them. For example my fren Christoper John Baptis.. he did share one story with me when he visited London, he said that life in London are really hectic, even in the walking line in the London street, if you are not rushing u have to walk at the left side coz the right side are for those who is rushing and some of them even run …..
5. My colleague in UMS, Utz. Kassim who did his Master in Univ. Of Manchester in UK told me that people in the UK are very civilized, there are one time when he was driving in Manchester, he forgot to wear seatbelt and suddenly one car stop in front of his car and told him to wear seatbelt, and what surprise him is that the ‘mat salleh’ is not a police, he is civilian.
6. I was quite close to the some of the UMS School Of Education Lecturers and most of them doing their degree/ master or Phd in UK, US or Australia. Some of them are really humble and even share their experience of doing PhD and I do apply some of their advices. And some times they do invite me to have minum pagi with them in Alam Mesra or cafĂ© around UMS and I have the opportunity to naik their kereta mewah like, harrier, C-RV (new model), Prado and the new Suzuki SUV. During this minum pagi actually, I used as my platform to ask their opinion regarding my problems with my thesis. And some of them willing to read my thesis and give their comment. Actually, that is what friends for….
7. I would like to emphasize that friendship never ends… Never claims your self as a first class citizen (let’s others decide!), always be humble. Keeps everyone close to your heart…See yaaaaaaaa

Dr. Maximus Ongkili

In my previous posting ‘ KDM ketandusan pemimpin pelapis’ I did not mention Datuk Dr. Maximus Ongkili among the senior leader who should give way to the young leaders. It’s because he should be one of our role model;
If u did read the interview by THE STAR journalist with Dr. Maximus recently I’m sure you do agree with me…
Maximus Ongkili comes from a poor family, being seventh out of 10 siblings and all are boys. Life is tough for him but his determination keep him this far. Despite of his boyhood hardship, Maximus won a Colombo Plan scholarship at the age of 21. He the went to La Trobe University in Australia and graduate with degree in agricultural science, without having to do masters, he proceed doing his PhD in agricultural economics.

Kaamatan Datang Lagi

7. Sejajar dengan tema pesta kaamatan 2009,
"BERSAMA MEMBENTUK MASA DEPAN YANG LEBIH BAIK"

"TOGETHER WE MOULD A BETTER FUTURE"

"MIISO MOMORUN DO SUAB DI LOBI KOMOGOTON"
